The Block ‘villains’ Kylie and Brad look unrecognisable in throwback photos as the reality show airs the couple’s many looks: ‘So cute’

The Block’s Kylie Baker is instantly recognisable thanks to her shock of fluorescent green hair.

But the reality star sported a litany of different looks before her turn on the show.

Kylie’s real-life and on-screen partner Brad look barely recognisable in throwback snaps aired on the show this week.

Kylie and Brad’s chameleon-like appearance came up on Wednesday when the couple were sharing some downtime with fellow contestants Courtney and Grant and Mimi and Christian.

The group were drinking wine and swapping stories when Kylie revealed she was the one who had popped the question in their relationship. 

‘When I got told, I believed it. I was like “Yeah, I could see that coming”,’ Grant quipped, to which Brad responded, ‘Yeah, it’s true.’

‘He could not have said no, at the time,’ Kylie laughed.

While the group were discussing Kylie and Brad’s ‘unconventional proposal’, producers aired a montage of the couple from years past.

Kylie’s locks looked miles apart from her bright green Block ‘do’, with the reality renovator rocking a range of colours including deep red and dark black.

At various times in her life Kylie also sported long blonde tresses. 

Brad, too, looked unrecognisable in one picture that showed him with sandy blonde hair.

He also spent a time growing his hair out and one photo showed Brad kissing Kylie with his long curly locks falling down past his shoulders.

‘I like the long hair,’ Courtney exclaimed when she saw the throwback snap, while Mimi added, ‘He’s so cute!’ 

Daily Mail Australia revealed in September that Kylie and Brad will make an abrupt exit on the Channel Nine series.

The news comes just weeks after it was confirmed Jesse Maguire and Paige Beechey from the Blue Team will throw down their shovels in week five and walk off-site for good. 

‘Kylie had an absolute meltdown at the end of week 12 and stormed off the set,’ spilled an insider from the production team.

‘She flat-out refused to continue filming, and the pair didn’t even show up to finish their communal space in week 13. 

‘I’ve got no clue how the producers are going to handle this on screen or how they’ll edit around it,’ they continued.

It comes after another insider dished that some of the fights between Kylie and Brad were ‘a tad cringe’ and ‘immature’, with their attitudes towards one another raising alarms.

‘Kylie and Brad are going to find watching the show back quite uncomfortable – as they really have a unique way of speaking to each other,’ the source said.
