Shane Warne’s lookalike daughters Brooke and Summer visit their dad’s old stomping ground to raise awareness for heart disease

Shane Warne’s two young daughters paid a visit to the MCG to raise awareness about heart health.

Brooke, 27, and Summer, 22, were at the stadium to announce extra heart monitors had been provided by the Shane Warne Foundation.

The sisters, who lost their celebrated cricketer father in March 2022 to a heart attack, appeared alongside Shane’s father Keith and Victorian Premier Jacinta Allen as they made the announcement.

Blonde beauty Brooke went for a simple yet stylish crisp white T-shirt paired with grey pants.

Her sister opted for a similar palette, but changed it up with a grey blazer, white shirt, and cream pants.

Both women went with a natural makeup look and wore their luscious tresses loose.

At one point, Summer and Brooke had a few laughs as they tried out their own heart health on the machines.

Brooke was all smiles as she got the all clear from a monitor, among several that have been installed around the cricket ground.

Founded by Shane Warne’s children Jackson, 25, Summer and Brooke, the SWL was established in 2023 in memory of the king of spin.

The aim was to offer at least 23,000 free four-minute health tests before the end of last year, with the figure to rise significantly to a targeted 500,000 in 2024.

Cricket giant Shane Warne tragically died of a heart attack at the age of 52 on March 4, 2022, while staying at a luxury villa on the Thailand holiday island of Koh Samui.

It comes after SWL co-founder Brooke posted a heartfelt plea to her fans to get an important check up, to prevent them dying from the illness that killed her father.

In May, Brooke shared on Instagram some alarming heart disease statistics.

She then urged followers to get a health check via The Shane Warne Legacy foundation.

‘Heart disease is the number one killer in men and the second highest for women. Get checked at one of our machines,’ she began.

‘It’s free and it takes four minutes. This test could save your life!’

In a letter published in the Herald Sun, Warne’s children revealed why they launched the nationwide campaign.

‘We aim to reciprocate the love and guidance dad provided us throughout our lives by continuing the legacy he left behind,’ they wrote.

‘It’s our heartfelt commitment to sustain the legacy on his behalf.

‘We believe if Dad had taken one of these tests, he might still be with us today.’

Warne was trying to improve his health on his ill-fated trip to Thailand, with his manager James Erskine insisting he was sober. The room he had been staying in was clear of any alcohol or cigarettes at the time of his death.

While the tragedy rocked the nation, his children Brooke, Jackson and Summer hope Warne’s sudden death can inspire other Aussies to take action and save their own lives.

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in Australia, leading to 12 per cent of all fatalities.

While Warne did reportedly speak to a doctor about his heart health before leaving for Thailand, he did not have a thorough test carried out – Warne’s family believe if that test had been taken, their father and hero would still be alive.
