Charli XCX reacts to THAT Bowen Yang’s parody of her on Saturday Night Live

Charli XCX has responded to Bowen Yang’s Saturday Night Live parody of her.

While stopping by the Howard Stern Show this week, the 32-year-old 360 hitmaker was asked whether she saw the spoof as a compliment or if it ‘ticked her off.’

She replied, ‘I think SNL is iconic,’ and added, ‘I love Bowen and honestly, I think he did a great job.’

Charli, born Charlotte Emma Aitchison, complimented the comedian as she continued, ‘I was very impressed with the hair texture, actually. I thought it was a very good wig.’

The pop star also mentioned friend and music artist Troye Sivan, who was also parodie, noting, ‘Troye and I had an inkling it was coming.’

For the satirical bit Bowen wore a slinky, draped black dress which was custom made for her by the brand Luar.

She added black, pointy-toe, to-the-knee boots and narrow sporty sunglasses.

Following her sold out Madison Square Garden performance, Charli posted a photo of herself wearing the getup backstage.

Yang’s costume spared no detail as he emulated her smokey eye makeup look as well as her threads.

For her stop at the long-running radio show, the music sensation donned belted jorts, short for jean shorts.

She added faded brown to-the-knee boots and a black leather bomber jacket.

Underneath her outer layer was a fitted crew neck white T-shirt that exposed a sliver of her taut tummy.

The songstress flaunted a short, shiny, plum-colored manicure as she chatted up Stern.

As she often does, the singer-songwriter wore her lengthy and voluminous jet black waves in a center part as she let them flow down her back and over her chest.

She wore a light face of makeup that accentuated her features, including her big brown eyes and full pout.

Charli’s next high-profile interview is with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

On Thursday she shared a snippet from the sit-down conversation, writing in a caption to her 6.3 million followers, ‘thank you @zanelowe @applemusic <3 full interview next week.’
