Colorado standout Travis Hunter has revealed that he hopes to be selected by the Denver Broncos in the 2025 NFL draft.
Hunter is among the favorites to win the 2024 Heisman Trophy as he continues to shine for the Buffaloes as both a wide receiver and cornerback.
The junior has spent the last two seasons playing under Deion Sanders in Boulder, building a reputation as one of the biggest talents in college football.
The 21-year-old is expected to join the NFL next year and he hopes to remain in the Denver area.
‘I wish I could go to the Broncos, just to stay in Colorado because so many people welcomed with open arms,’ Hunter told the Kickin’ it With Dee podcast.

‘I wish I could go to the Broncos, just to stay in Colorado,’ the Buffaloes’ two-way star said
‘They showed us love that we would never have gotten in a different spot.
Above all, however, Hunter hopes to be selected first overall, an honor which went to Caleb Williams in 2024, with the quarterback ending up in Chicago.
‘I never dreamed of it until a couple of years ago when I knew I had a chance to become the first pick,’ Hunter explained.
‘That became my main goal, to become the first pick. I don’t even care where it’s at.’
This season, Hunter has six touchdowns and 561 yards for the 4-1 Buffaloes, whose next game comes on October 12 against Kansas State.
