A child is one of two people unaccounted for after a unit was engulfed in flames for almost an hour.
Firefighters rushed to the home on Bayside Court in Thornside, South of Brisbane, about 7.15am on Sunday to reports of a home on fire.
They managed to extinguish the blaze about 8am but not before three units were damaged and the roof of one collapsing.
A woman and a child are yet to be accounted for.
