Olivia Newton John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi wipes tears away from Olivia’s niece Tottie Goldsmith during the ONJ Walk for Wellness in Melbourne

Chloe Lattanzi, the daughter of late Australian pop icon Olivia Newton-John, had a very emotional moment with her cousin Tottie Goldsmith on Sunday as the pair attended the ONJ Walk for Wellness in Melbourne.

The niece of the late great singer and actor, who died from breast cancer in 2022 aged 73, put a brave face on as she hugged Olivia’s husband John Easterling.

However, the Chantoozies founder, 62, broke down when faced with Olivia’s daughter Chloe, 38, who was spotted wiping away her cousin’s tears.

After pulling herself back together, Tottie continued to greet those who attended the annual fundraiser in support of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre.

Tottie and Chloe dressed in retro athleisure wear in tribute to one of Olivia’s greatest hits Physical.

Rocking a hot pink leotard, Tottie also donned a white crop top which read Let’s Get Physical—the most memorable line from the iconic ’80s song.

Chloe also wore pink for the fundraiser event, pairing her ensemble with a pair of purple leg warmers and a bright green bomber jacket.

It comes after Chloe revealed she was refused permission to record her mum’s most famous single.

Appearing on The Project on Wednesday to promote Olivia’s Walk For Wellness, Chloe talked about her own debut single Phoenix which released on 26 September—Olivia’s birthday.

After discussing the Walk For Wellness’ 1980s theme, panelist Sarah Harris asked Chloe if she had any designs on releasing a version of her mother’s best known single Physical.

‘That’s a story,’ Chloe said. ‘I did, and one writer gave absolute permission, the other one did not.’

Host Waleed Ali chimed in, demanding to know more about the writer who nixed Chloe’s cover.

‘So who is the other one and what’s their address,’ Waleed said, before guest panellist Myf Warhurst suggested a letter writing campaign to reverse the decision.

Arguably Olivia’s best known single, Physical hit number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 in November 1981 and remained at the top spot for 10 weeks—the most for any single in the 1980s.

The track eventually hit number one in seven countries including Australia, Canada, and New Zealand and was certified platinum in the US and Australia.
