Why Donna Kelce is keeping son Travis’ birthday gift a secret… as Chiefs star reveals his ideal present on 35th birthday

Donna Kelce would not reveal what she’s got son Travis for his birthday, because she doesn’t want to ruin the surprise.

The Kansas City Chiefs star turned 35 on Saturday with his brother Jason and parents Ed and Donna flying in to celebrate with him.

The family will stick around for Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints, with Travis revealing girlfriend Taylor Swift would also be in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium.

It comes after questions were raised over the prospect of the popstar appearing after she missed the victories over the Los Angeles Chargers and Atlanta Falcons.

But Donna, a regular at Kelce’s games, will definitely be there although she refused to tell DailyMail.com what she’s got him for his birthday.

When asked what gift she got, Donna replied: ‘I’m not telling you… because I’m giving it to him after Monday’s game.’

Kelce revealed what his perfect gift would be earlier in the night, although it’s not something Donna can deliver.

He told Page Six: ‘I’ll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those.’

Swift stayed away as Kelce spent the night of his birthday hosting his second annual Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City.

A few of his Chiefs teammates were also in attendance including Patrick Mahomes and George Karlaftis.

After the event in Kansas City, some of the Kelce family joined Mahomes, his wife Brittany, and others for an afterparty at the Aristocrat Lounge.

There was a massive amount of speculation that Swift would attend her boyfriend’s charity event, but she was not spotted during the festivities.

Monday’s Chiefs-Saints game is the first game for Kelce and his teammates at Arrowhead Stadium since their Week 2 victory over the Bengals, which Swift did attend.

Swift was also in attendance for the Chiefs’ season-opening win against the Baltimore Ravens, the fifth of six straight Kansas City games she was in the stadium for.

Kelce told Page Six that Swift plans to be in attendance for his matchup against New Orleans.

His slow start to the 2024 season also prompted some to speculate whether his relationship with Swift was a distraction from being in peak condition.

Insiders close to Swift slammed the ‘absurd’ and ‘misogynistic’ narrative, insisting to DailyMail.com that the singer can be supportive without cheering from the sidelines at every game.

‘It’s absolutely absurd and a misogynistic to speculate that Taylor’s attendance impacts Travis’ performance,’ the source said.

‘He loves her support but doesn’t expect her at every single game, just as she would not expect him at every Eras tour date. And fans don’t make a fuss when he’s not at every gig.’

They continued: ‘They have their own lives and own careers, and both are at the top of their game.’
