Emotions ran high on The Voice Australia on Sunday night as contestants on Adam Lambert and Kate Miller Heidke’s teams competed for a Semi-Final spot.
The stars’ top seven artists went head-to-head in the most challenging phase of the competition so far: The Knockouts.
But only four emerged victorious as Annie Jones, Siena Fodera, Jaedyn Randall and Tom Leeming went on to the Semi-Final while the last 10 were sent home.
Grouped in duos or trios for the three Knockouts per team, the artists performed individual songs centred around a theme.
The winners from each Knockout then faced off in a final Showdown with a song of their choice, leading to two artists from each team advancing to the Semi-Final.
From Team Adam, young guns Annie, 16, Siena, 18, and Arthur Hull triumphed in their Knockouts.
The trio then competed in a Showdown with incredible renditions of Mamma Knows Best by Jessie J, A Song For You by Donny Hathaway and Rocket Man by Elton John.
After their performances, Annie and Siena clinched the first two spots in the Semi-Final, while Arthur was eliminated from the competition.

With Matthew Hearne withdrawing from the competition after The Battles, coach Kate had an open slot on her team.
She invited eliminated artist Tom, 29, from Adam Lambert’s team to return to the competition and the gamble paid off.
Tom advanced to the final Showdown alongside Jaymee Lancaster and 23-year-old Jaedyn.
The trio performed Another Love by Tom Odell, Figures by Jessie Reyez and Mirror by Madison Ryann Ward.

Kate struggled to choose her two winners from the three, saying she ‘hated’ to send any of them home.
‘I really hate it. All three of you have your own distinct vocal qualities, which makes this so hard,’ she said before ultimately selecting Jaedyn and Tom for the Semi-Final.
Tonight’s eliminated artists included Lana Sayah, Chloe Kay, Stephanie Milostic, Cody Gunton and Arthur from Team Adam.
Elias Lanyon, Nethra Raman, Yorke Heath, Michael and Violeta, and Jaymee from Team Kate also went home.
The Voice Australia will return next Sunday at 7:00pm on Channel Seven and 7Plus.
