A Peruvian bullfighter has been labeled the ‘world’s worst matador’ after he was brutally gored to his bum and leg during his debut clash in Madrid.

A video captured the horrific moment Andrés Roca Rey, 27, is impaled by one of the beast’s huge horns before being tossed into the air like a rag doll.

He is then flipped over into a somersault before he comes crashing down onto the sand and curls into a ball to try and protect himself.

The crazed animal then launches a second attack and spears the matador’s uniform, shaking him violently as bystanders rush in to assist and he lays in a crumpled heap on the ground.

They attempt to calm the furious 3000Ib creature using coloured sheets to try and distract it from the injured matador.

Meanwhile, fortunately, the beaten and bruised young man is able to stagger to his feet and limp out of the Las Ventas bull ring, while leaning on helpers for support.

Mr Roca Rey has reportedly been injured in the gluteus and is undergoing surgery in the bullring’s medical centre.

The medical report states that the bullfighter suffered ‘a wound caused by a bull’s horn in the posterior 1/3 proximal part of the right thigh, with two trajectories, one 15 centimetres forward which caused damage to the hamstring muscles and bruised the sciatic nerve and another 15 centimetres inwards, which caused damage to the gluteus maximus muscle.’

The event was the bull fighter’s first bull of the sixth bullfight of the Autumn Fair which was held this afternoon.

And this wasn’t the first time the young man has made headlines as he previously caught media attention when a shocking video of him being gored by a rampant bull emerged in 2016.

The incident marked the fourth time Mr Roca Rey had been gored that year.

He had been back on his feet for only a few days after being knocked unconscious during an earlier event.

The footage shows how the bull fighter had a near miss, leaving one witness questioning whether he should consider a different career.

The bull can be seen catching Mr Roca Rey on its horns as he attempts a flamboyant pass with his cloak.

Stunned spectators can see the teenager being sent spinning around the bull’s horns before he is thrown to the arena’s sand floor.

Then – for a heart-stopping moment before help can get to him – the young bullfighter is gored and trampled by the angry 1,400-lb animal.

Spectators feared the worst as his seemingly lifeless body was carried away by helpers while others tried to tame the bull.

The extent of his injuries was not been made clear but he is said to have suffered concussion and a shattered right cheek bone and has been ordered to rest by medics.
