The Block Australia saw tensions build between Grant Freeman and builder Jack from House One on Monday night.
Grant, 30, attempted to steal one of the Venetian plasterers working for Maddy and Charlotte Harry, but their builder Jack took exception to the underhanded tactic.
The carpenter put his foot down and harshly refused to lend trades to House Two after Grant and partner Courtney McInnes denied the girls help the day before.
Sisters Maddy, 24, and Charlotte, 22, found themselves a plasterer short the day before when one of their tradies didn’t have the correct insurance papers.
When he was denied access to the building site, the girls scrambled to replace him, asking Grant and Courtney, 31, if they would lend out one of their many plasterers.
The couple refused to help the sisters who worked right next door to them, but foreman Dan managed to save the say by flying in a plasterer he knew.
Courtney took the opportunity to slyly ask the plasterer to come work for her and Grant instead, going behind Maddy and Charlotte’s backs to get a quote from him.
When confronted by producers, Grant and Courtney said the sisters gave them permission to use their plasterer, which the girls denied.

Grant also said he ‘helped out’ the girls in their first week of the show by lending them one of his plasterers, but this was also proven untrue moments later.
Producers went on to show old clips of Grant refusing to help the girls in their first week when they were stuck without proper tradesmen.
‘It’s not how it works. Get your own plasterers,’ Grant told producers at the time.
Three weeks later and Grant and Courtney refused to help the girls again when they found themselves desperate to find another plasterer.
However, they seemed to have no problem swooping in and trying to poach theirs when they finally sourced a new tradesman.

Grant suddenly changed his tune about sharing trades, saying if the sisters weren’t okay with him using their plasterer, then ‘bad luck, you don’t own trades’.
Builder Jack, who is the carpenter friend Maddy and Charlotte flew in when they arrived midway through The Block, was rightfully upset at the hypocrisy.
‘They didn’t want to help us yesterday and now they want help from us? It’s just outrageous,’ he said.
‘Charlotte, we don’t let anyone touch our Venetian plasterers. Even after he’s done, stuff them. We’re saying straight up “no”.’
The Block will return on Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now.
