A Justin Timberlake fan missed out on being serenaded by the pop legend himself because she was too busy texting on her phone.
During the Montreal stop of his sold-out Forget Tomorrow World Tour, Timberlake attempted to perform his track Flame for a group of female fans in the front row.
While most of the women were bursting with excitement and more than happy to sing along to the lyrics and get a high five from the Sexyback singer, one fan was distracted with her head buried in her phone.
Timberlake leaned down while singing to try and capture her attention, but the young woman was so busy texting that she didn’t look up.
She was eventually alerted to Timberlake’s presence when another fan tapped her on the shoulder, but at this point it was too late.

The young woman desperately reached out to grab Timberlake but it was too late
By the time she finally looked up, Timberlake had already started walking away.
In a desperate attempt to have a moment with the singer, the fan frantically reached out and grabbed at his leg.
She then flung her upper body onto the stage with her arms outstretched, but Timberlake was long gone.
Someone managed to record the moment and shared it to TikTok, writing, ‘When you’re too busy texting and miss Justin Timberlake singing Flame right in front of you.’
Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour has been a huge success for the star, selling over one million tickets and winning acclaim from critics.
He’s continuously added new dates to the tour to keep up with demand, most recently adding eight new shows to the North American leg.
At his recent Montreal show, the Suit & Tie hitmaker was joined by his wife Jessica Biel to coincide with their anniversary.

Addressing the crowd – and Biel – Timberlake said, ‘It’s also a very special evening for me. My wife is here tonight, and tonight is our 12-year anniversary.’
The Grammy winning artist blew a kiss to the actress, who was enjoying the show from the VIP section at Bell Centre.
‘So be nice to her Montreal, because she’s sharing with all of you guys tonight,’ he said before putting his hand over his heart and telling Biel, ‘I love you baby.’
Timberlake shared the sweet moment in a clip to Instagram on Saturday, writing, ‘We back! Thank you @jessicabiel for sharing our anniversary with Montreal. LOVE Y’ALL!’
