Scarlett Johansson looks effortlessly stylish in high-waisted grey trousers as she scouts potential filming locations in New York

Scarlett Johansson exuded effortless style as she was spotted location scouting with her crew in New York on Tuesday.

The actress, 39, put on a casual chic display in a black-and-white striped top and loose dark grey trousers.

She kept a low profile as she hid under a burgundy baseball cap and a pair of blue tinted sunglasses.

The Marvel star teamed the look with comfortable white trainers and accessorised with simple gold jewellery.

Scarlett opted for a light touch of make up as she showed off her natural beauty.

It has not yet been revealed what project the actress is working on in Tribeca, but she is no stranger to stepping behind the camera.

Earlier this year she was spotted on set of her new film Eleanor the Great, where she made her feature directorial debut.

The movie follows Eleanor Morgenstein, a 90-year-old woman trying to rebuild her life after the death of her best friend.

Scarlett cast her former co-star Jessica Hecht with whom she starred in Broadway play A View From The Bridge at the Cort Theatre back in 2010, which garnered her a Tony Award.

She also cast fellow Marvel action star Chiwetel Ejiofor – who starred in the two Doctor Strange movies – in a mystery role in Eleanor the Great.

The film is gearing up for a release in theaters but a release date has not been confirmed.

In 2022, the two-time Oscar nominee revealed on the Table for Two podcast that her future in films would involve directing and more producing, saying: ‘My ideal job is a corner office on the Disney lot. Like a little [bungalow]. That’s what I want.’

Scarlett was last seen in in the new animated featured Transformers One alongside Australian hunk Chris Hemsworth.

In the movie, Chris provides the voice of Orion Pax, who later become Optimus Prime, the supreme commander of the Autobots.

Meanwhile, Scarlett steps into the role of Elita One – a devoted Autobot and powerful warrior.

At the London premiere of the film last month the actress revealed her daughter Rose, 10, had a vital part in the process.

‘If there’s a particular movie that my daughter loves, a Disney film or whatever, I will watch the recordings of that,’ the 39-year-old told the Daily Telegraph.

‘I remember when my daughter first started watching movies and Sing came out – I play Ash in Sing – I had to explain to her how it works, like how characters are animated’ the American actress continued.

‘I was like, there’s actors like me that go in and they voice the thing, and then we started watching.

‘I was like, maybe she would like to see the process. It is absolutely fascinating’.
