Kanye West and his Australian wife Bianca Censori may have performed their most ridiculous stunt yet – feeding their friends lies about the state of their marriage.
The couple’s relationship appeared to be on the rocks on Monday amid several reports they had been spending time apart in recent months, with an insider telling DailyMail.com that Censori confessed the pair had been ‘drifting’ apart.
However, the rapper, 47, and the Australian beauty, 29, appeared to confirm they were still together when they were pictured packing on the PDA in Tokyo on Tuesday.
The couple had not been pictured together since September 20.
Now, Censori’s inner circle have been left confused by the architectural designer’s decision to tell them that her marriage was in trouble.
‘Kanye and Bianca were responsible for the news that they were divorcing getting out there because this is what they both told people,’ a source exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.
The shock move has since sparked backlash from fans and social media users, who have branded West and Censori ‘attention seekers’.
The pair are certainly no strangers to making global headlines.

West and Censori caused a firestorm in August 2023 when they appeared to engage in an intimate act while on a boat ride in Venice, Italy.
The pair were spotted enjoying an amorous moment on a water taxi as West exposed his bare buttocks in front of gawking tourists.
Images of the couple showed the American rapper seated at the back of the river taxi while his wife placed her head in his lap.
Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, the company that rented the boat to West and Censori, later confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the couple were ‘no longer welcome’ aboard their watercraft.
In a statement, the company condemned the pair’s bawdy activity and confirmed the driver was ‘completely unaware’ what occurred on the boat.

‘On board, the driver had to keep a lookout for traffic and did not see these obscenities. If this had happened, he would have immediately disembarked and reported the transgressors to those in authority,’ the company said.
‘In addition, there was a third person on board the taxi, who accompanied Mr and Mrs West, who obstructed the captain’s view to the stern in any case.’
The third person was a woman who has been pictured chaperoning West and Censori during their Italian holiday.
The company went on to denounce the couple’s explicit display, saying: ‘We completely dissociate ourselves from such acts and behaviour.
‘Mr West and his wife will certainly no longer be welcome on board our company’s boats.’
Meanwhile, online critics argued that West’s flesh-baring display constituted ‘public indecency,’ a charge which comes with a fine of up to €309 (AU$520), according to the Italian Constitutional Court.
‘How are these two not arrested for lewd behaviour?’ one commenter complained at the time, as another agreed: ‘Public indecency! Keep it for the privacy of your own home.’
A third commenter added: ‘Italian authorities need to arrest them for indecency, doing that lewd and disgusting behaviour in public. There are clearly crowds, kids probably saw.’
Another complained: ‘What is the matter with them? Maybe time the police stepped in,’ as with another critic asked: ‘Why won’t the Italian government, police or someone stop them?’
Others said the bawdy display was ‘disrespectful’ to residents of the conservative Catholic nation.

‘This kind of dumb stunt is what helps paint all Americans as having zero class or respect,’ one user lamented.

A month later, West and Censori were spotted strolling through Italy while the Aussie went topless, holding a purple cushion to cover her breasts.
Censori clutched the square pillow to her chest as she and West made their way out of their hotel in Florence, with a local photographer later revealing the pair enjoyed a shopping trip at designer brand Marni.
Even more bizarrely, Censori had been seen clutching the same cushion hours earlier when she and West enjoyed a late night dinner together – however, she appeared to be wearing a long-sleeved bodysuit during the meal.
When they ventured outdoors in the morning, however, the Kim Kardashian-lookalike had nothing but a small piece of tattered fabric wrapped around her back underneath her breasts, leaving them entirely exposed behind the cushion.
In June this year, the couple turned heads in Paris at the Prototypes Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show, where West was clad in an all-white ensemble while Censori showed off her pink locks in a revealing bodysuit.
British PR expert Mark Borkowski told Dailymail.com that the eye-catching ensemble was West’s attempt to establish Censori as a pop culture figure on par with that of his former spouse.
‘This is a statement and Kanye West sees the media as his canvas and sees this as an opportunity to paint his picture,’ he said. ‘Bianca is his artwork and his muse and the person he influences to create a statement.’
Borkowski added: ‘I think this is a well sculptured PR stunt but artists create art and this is what Kanye West is doing.’
