Hugh Jackman announces exciting career move with Deadpool co-star Ryan Reynolds by his side after his split with Deborra-Lee Furness

Hugh Jackman announced an exciting new career move on Wednesday.

The Australian actor, 55, is returning to his live performance roots with a concert series at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Hugh, who recently split with long-term spouse Deborra-Lee Furness, took to his Instagram Stories to share the poster for ‘Hugh Jackman Live from New York with Love.’

The image, which featured the X-Men star smiling in a suit as he walked the street outside Radio City Music Hall, also announced several dates for 2025.

Hugh also promoted the show with a hilarious video that parodied the announcement teaser for Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Ryan Reynolds.

The Aussie star sits on a couch as he addressed the audience.

‘A little over two years ago, Ryan sat in this very seat and announced to the world that I would be coming back for Deadpool & Wolverine,’ Hugh began.

‘It was the time of my life. I’ve been wondering what comes next.’

As Jackman did in the original viral video, Reynolds casually appears behind him, munching on an apple while walking up a flight of stairs without a care.

‘Hey Ryan, you wanna come to one of my live performances at Radio City Music Hall?’ Hugh asks, to which Ryan replies, ‘What, you’re gonna be like singing and dancing and joking live? Am I gonna be in it?’

Hugh shakes his head at the camera but calls out to Ryan ‘Absolutely!’

‘Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.

‘Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives,’ the statement read.

The exes signed the statement ‘Deb and Hugh Jackman,’ adding: ‘This is the sole statement either of us will make.’
