Juventus have confirmed that they are talking to Paul Pogba’s entourage after his doping ban was reduced.
Mail Sport revealed last week that Pogba’s four-year drugs ban has been reduced to 18 months and will come to an end in March 2025.
Pogba has held talks with Juventus about ending his time at the club, with the expectation being that a mutual agreement will be reached to allow him to depart, despite his contract running until June 2026.
Juventus CEO Maurizio Scanavino confirmed that the club are talking to Pogba’s entourage and expressed concern about the midfielder’s lack of recent playing time due to injuries and suspension.
Pogba played just twice for Juventus last season due to his ban after featuring only ten times in the 2022-23 campaign as a result of injury struggles.

Scanavino told Sky Sport Italia: ‘We are talking to his entourage. Pogba is a great player and he certainly can still play. However, between injuries and bans, he effectively hasn’t really played for two years.
‘These are all elements we need to evaluate and I can confirm we are talking to his staff.’
Should Pogba leave Juventus, Marseille appears his most likely destination.
The 31-year-old will be permitted to start training again in January after his ban was reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
According to Malick Traore, a move to Marseille could be a better option for Pogba than a previously-rumoured switch to the USA.

Pogba is set to make his return to the pitch on November 30 in a legends match in Dubai.
John Terry, Roberto Carlos, Michael Owen, Paul Scholes and David Silva are also poised to feature in a game that will include former World Cup and Champions League winners.
Pogba had been facing potential retirement had his four-year ban been upheld.
In CAS’ final judgement it was confirmed that Pogba did inadvertently take DHEA, a substance that boosts testosterone that is on WADA’s banned list. However, the ruling states that DHEA only has an effect on females.
Pogba has had two spells at both Manchester United and Juventus during his career, while he won the World Cup with France in 2018.
