While Caitlin Clark’s entry into the WNBA inspired a massive spike in the league’s viewership and attendance numbers, her performance on the court proved worthy of the notoriety.
Coming off a historical career with the Iowa Hawkeyes in the NCAA, Clark was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft in April.
Since putting on a WNBA uniform, Clark’s ascension to stardom rose as quickly as her impact on the professional ranks.
Despite struggling to adjust to the league’s physicality in the beginning, Clark went on to put up impressive numbers. She also led Indiana to their first playoff appearance since 2016 before falling to the Connecticut Sun in a first-round sweep.
Ahead of the WNBA Finals between the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx, the Big 10 Network posted a graphic listing Clark’s impressive feat from her rookie campaign.
