South Australian model Jessica Dover opened up about the first time she met former Neighbours star boyfriend Daniel MacPherson two years ago.
The lovebirds were introduced by friends and Jess says it was all but love at first sight as the pair felt ‘instant attraction’ to one another.
She revealed the couple ‘spoke all night’ when they first met, with their relationship starting out very ‘easy’, reported the Advertiser on Friday.
‘He’s just so kind. Both having children [we were] looking for something that makes you feel really calm,’ she told the publication.
Jess shares her son Sebastian, four, with ex-partner former Crow Jared Petrenko, while Daniel, 44, shares son Austin, also four, with ex-wife actor Zoe Ventoura.
Despite going strong for a few years now, Jess said the pair have no wedding plans in the near future as they are navigating a long-distance relationship.
Jess is still based in Adelaide and prioritising raising her only child, while Daniel lives in Sydney—though she assured she and Daniel ‘see a future together’.
‘Everything I do is to provide for our family. [It’s] a dance between mum guilt and providing for us,’ she added.

It comes after Daniel opened up about his blossoming romance with former WAG and House Rules star Jess earlier this year, revealing they are going as strong as ever.
The former soap star revealed one of the things he loved most about his beautiful partner was how she was always there for him in his challenging career.
‘There’s lots of great stuff in my life. My relationship with Jess is one of those and we are a wonderful support to each other,’ he told The Daily Telegraph at the time.

Daniel went Instagram official with Jess in April last year after romance rumours began swirling when they were spotted at the races together.
Jess confirmed the news by sharing a series of photos on Instagram to mark Daniel’s birthday, writing: ‘Happy Birthday @danmacpherson. Adore you.’
Daniel reposted Jess’s tribute to his IG Story and also shared a picture of the model standing by the ocean alongside the text: ‘Birthday visitor.’
The new romance came two years after Daniel split from actress Zoe Ventoura in December 2020, following five years of marriage.
The former couple shared almost identically worded posts on Instagram at the time, revealing they had mutually decided to separate.
