Comedian claims ‘die-hard Trump supporter viciously assaulted’ him outside Dallas bar for joking about former president

An actor-comedian has claimed he was ‘viciously assaulted’ by a ‘die-hard Trump supporter’ outside a Dallas bar this weekend for mocking the former president.

Patrick W. Cutler has nearly a million followers on both TikTok and Instagram, gaining popularity for his impressions of Napoleon Dynamite.

Cutler posted on early Sunday morning that he had been attacked at a bar in Dallas the night before, initially making no mention of politics.

‘I got jumped outside a bar tonight, and physically assaulted in Dallas, Texas More details to come…for the time right I have decided to quit making videos,’ he wrote.

About an hour later, Cutler made a second post about the assault, again making no mention of Trump.

‘There is an actual Napoleon Dynamite assault tape from tonight. I have personally decided to move on with my life. I would like to appreciate everyone’s support and God Bless,’ he wrote.

Finally, on Sunday afternoon, Cutler elaborated further on the attack, finally mentioning the former president.

‘I was viciously assaulted last night by a die-hard Trump supporter in downtown Dallas, Texas for simply making a joke he didn’t like,’ he wrote.

He added: ‘I have video evidence of it, but have decided not to release it at this time for fear of my own life.’

However, he later replied to someone asking if he would release the video of his assault, saying: ‘Soon.’

Later Sunday, Cutler made his first post on TikTok since the assault, posing with fans at Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys game against the Detroit Lions at AT&T Stadium.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Cutler for further comment.

Cutler’s accusations come during a time of increased threats of political violence.

Donald Trump has survived an assassination attempt and a second plot to make an attempt on his life in recent months.

Trump cheated death when a round fired by gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks grazed his ear at a rally in Pennsylvania in June.

The shocking attack, which left him bloodied but otherwise unhurt, only appeared to make Trump more defiant than ever.
