She also revealed she won’t be watching her own horror films on Halloween, quipping: ‘No, what kind of life do you think I have?’

Jamie made her debut as Laurie in 1978’s Halloween and her last appearance came in 2022’s Halloween Ends.

The original movie saw babysitter Laurie stalked by masked wearing killer Michael Myers.

The synopsis read: ‘On a cold Halloween night in 1963, six year old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, Judith. He was sentenced and locked away for 15 years’.

‘But on October 30, 1978, while being transferred for a court date, a 21-year-old Michael Myers steals a car and escapes Smith’s Grove. He returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he looks for his next victims’.

The actress previously admitted saying goodbye to her alter ego was ‘very tough’.

In a behind-the-scenes clip from Entertainment Weekly, an emotional Jamie said: ‘The whole concept of a horror movie is to stimulate emotions, and the making of it does the same thing.

‘So to have done it three times with a group of people, and knowing that I’m not going to get to do it again with that same group of people, really has been very tough for me.
