A 32-year-old woman has been charged with murder after an elderly man was found dead inside a suburban house.
Emergency services were called to a home in Basie Court in the southern Brisbane suburb of Browns Plains about midday on Monday after the man, 72, was discovered unconscious and not breathing.
He was later declared dead at the house and a crime scene was established.
The 32-year-old Browns Plains woman was taken into custody at the scene, and has since been charged with murder (domestic violence offence).
She was due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Investigations are ongoing.
