Nicole Kidman’s daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret were comforted by Jessica Rowe’s model daughter Allegra Overton at their grandmother Janelle’s funeral in Sydney on Tuesday.
Janelle died aged 84 last month, just hours before Nicole was awarded the Best Actress gong for her role in Babygirl at the Venice Film Festival.
Sunday Rose, 16 and her younger sister Faith, 14, received a tight hug from Allegra, 17, outside of St Francis Xavier Church where the service was held.
The Overtons and Kidman-Urban clan have shared a close relationship over the years, even ringing in the New Year together at the famous family’s multimillion-dollar North Sydney penthouse on January 1, 2023.
Dressed in a smart black dress, Allegra embraced the two girls who looked somber in all-black attire.
Allegra’s father, veteran Channel Nine journalist Peter Overton, was also spotted comforting the two Kidman teens and their cousin Lucia Hawley who stood nearby looking visibly heartbroken.
Wearing a navy suit and light blue tie, Peter was seen offering kind words and condolences to the family.

His presence was particularly comforting, showing the deep bond between the two families.
Hollywood star Nicole was seen arriving to the funeral earlier in the day, visibly emotional and supported by her husband Keith Urban.
The Kidman family said farewell to Janelle at the same church where they held Nicole’s father Antony’s funeral following his death in September 2014.
Last month, Nicole and her sister Antonia shared an emotional tribute to their late mother on Instagram and posted several never-before-seen family pictures.

In the post, the Perfect Couple star thanked her millions of fans and supporters for expressing their condolences during their time of grieving.
‘My sister and I along with our family want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week,’ Nicole wrote in the joint statement.
‘Every message we have received from those who loved and admired our Mother has meant more to us than we will ever be able to express. Thank you from our whole family for respecting our privacy as we take care of each other.’
The week before, Nicole had been forced to leave Venice Film Festival to return to her native Sydney to be with her family after the sad news of her mother’s death.

Janelle died just hours before Nicole was awarded Best Actress for her role in Babygirl on the final day of Venice Film Festival.
‘Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed,’ Nicole revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn upon her win.
‘I am in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her, she shaped me, she guided me, and she made me.
‘I am beyond grateful that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina, the collision of life and art is heart-breaking, and my heart is broken. We love you all.’
