Sydney Sweeney helped catch a Los Angeles burglar… while filming her Christy Martin biopic in North Carolina

Sydney Sweeney used her in-home technology to help catch a Los Angeles burglar… while she was on the other side of the country.

The 27-year-old actress was in North Carolina filming her biopic on trailblazing female boxer Christy Martin, when the security cameras around her home alerted her to an intruder.

The burglar entered Sweeney’s property at approximately 3:30 AM on Monday, according to TMZ, though she didn’t stay on her lawn for long.

The suspect then gained access to Sweeney’s neighbor’s home and made off with a few items before fleeing.

Sweeney quickly alerted authorities in Los Angeles after seeing the footage, enabling local authorities to arrive quickly and apprehend the suspect.
