Jay Cutler has been arrested for DUI and gun possession in Tennessee.
The former NFL star was jailed on Thursday after he was stopped while allegedly driving intoxicated with two firearms, including a loaded pistol, according to a police report seen by DailyMail.com
Cutler, 41, was arrested after a minor traffic collision in downtown Franklin, with the probe suggesting he rear-ended another car at around 5pm, according to a police report seen by DailyMail.com
Police say they noticed a strong odor of alcohol during their conversation with Cutler, who reportedly had blood shot eyes.
Cutler refused a field sobriety test and was taken to a hospital, where a blood sample was obtained through a blood search warrant, according to authorities.

He is also accused of failure to exercise due care and violation of implied consent law, as first reported by TMZ.

He was released from the Williamson County Jail later on Thursday after posting a $5,000 bond.
Police have not released more details of the circumstances of Cutler’s arrest.
Cutler was married to Cavallari, 37, for nearly a decade before they divorced in 2022.
They share three children – Camden, 11, Jaxon, 9, and Saylor, 8.
The former couple starred in their own reality show on E! called Very Cavallari which followed their life in Nashville.
Cutler spent 12 years in the NFL, most notably as the quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

Cutler has been dating Samantha Robertson for over a year.
The couple went public in September, 2023.
Meanwhile, Cavallari just announced the end of her seven-month relationship with toyboy – Montana Boyz TikToker Mark Estes – due to their 13-year age gap.
Cavallari recently shared that her custody agreement with Cutler had changed and she now had more time with her children.
Police have not released more details of the circumstances of Cutler’s arrest
The former couple initially split every other week with their kids but Cavallari said earlier this month that the arrangement changed over the last year.
‘I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and work. Happiness for me is peace, and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it. I’m a homebody — I really am,’ she said on her podcast.
