How Australia’s hottest Married At First Sight star got caught up in Donald Trump’s campaign

Married At First Sight Australia star Evelyn Ellis has become caught up in Donald Trump’s election campaign.

The 28-year-old has found herself at the centre of Trump’s presidential campaign after international men’s magazine MAXIM, who she previously posed on the cover for, revealed its support for the Republican nominee through an X post.

The post shows a bright blue convertible with Trump sitting in the driver’s seat and a model in a black dress sitting cross-legged on top of the luxury car.

‘Maxim endorses Donald J. Trump for President,’ Maxim wrote in the post with over 137,000 likes.

The magazine publishes 16 editions and is sold across 75 countries around the globe.

American entrepreneur and holding company CEO Sardar Biglari is the publication’s owner and editor-in-chief.

Evelyn posed for a photoshoot with Maxim Australia in May 2023, following her appearance on MAFS.

The model and marketing manager looked scorching hot in a latex micro bikini for the cover of the May issue.

The busty brunette oozed sex appeal with her wet hair slicked back as she pouted seductively for the camera.

In her interview with Maxim, Evelyn revealed she would never join OnlyFans – the subscription-based adult website popular with reality stars.

‘OnlyFans, let me tell you – it ain’t happening,’ she said.

‘[I have] nothing against it but I want to fill my time doing things I absolutely love and I just know I would not love doing OnlyFans.’

She described herself as a ‘glass half-full type of person’ who grew up with immigrant parents and had a normal childhood of playing outdoors and climbing trees.

‘My best asset is my sense of humour,’ she added. ‘I feel people are very serious these days, so I love that I don’t take myself seriously.’

It comes after Evelyn revealed on Monday she was banned from flying overseas because she had a rip in her passport.

She shared a photo from the airport after she wasn’t allowed to board her flight.

‘Had a terrible day yesterday. I was denied boarding because of a small tear on my passport,’ she said.

During her stint on MAFS, Evelyn broke up with shy electrician Rupert Bugden after growing tired of the lack of effort he was putting into their relationship.

She later confirmed her relationship with fellow MAFS groom Duncan, who was paired with Alyssa Barmonde on the show.
