Kate Winslet looked chic when she stepped out in Sydney on Tuesday.

The British actress, 49, was spotted leaving the Nova FM radio studios wearing an all black ensemble.

Kate, who is in the country promoting her new film Lee, wore a blazer, pairing it with leather-look pants and loafers.

The Academy Award winner wore her hair down and went for a natural makeup look.

Kate’s new film is a biographical drama telling the story of American ex-model Lee Miller who took photographs of poignant moments during World War II for Vogue magazine.

The movie also stars Josh O’Connor, Marion Cotillard, Andy Samberg and Alexander Skarsgard.

The production was a passion project for Winslet and director Ellen Kuras, with both women committed to the film even after funding woes.

Because of its precarious funding situation, the film took eight years to make.

The actress’ public appearance comes just weeks after she confessed she boosted her sex life by undergoing testosterone replacement therapy.

And the Titanic star encouraged other women who have seen their libido dip to look into their testosterone levels, believing that could be the reason why they’re put off sex.

Testosterone replacement therapy (known as TPT) is a prescription treatment that helps restore testosterone levels.

The mother-of-three said: ‘Sometimes women have a real dip in libido because there might be stuff going on with their thyroid.

‘There could also be stuff going on with your level of testosterone.

‘A lot of people don’t know this but women have testosterone in their body, when it runs out – like eggs – it’s gone, and once it’s gone you have to replace it and that is something that can be done and you’ll feel sexy again… I know.’

Kate was giving advice during a mini-agony aunt section in the How To Fail podcast.

A listener had asked for help to rediscover their sex drive.

Kate continued: ‘I would suggest for your physical self, have your thyroid levels checked and your testosterone levels checked well because those things could have a direct impact on how you’re actually feeling.

‘It’s not your fault, our bodies are weird and they behave in strange ways especially as we get older.

‘So there could be a dip in those hormonal levels for you that is contributing much more than you think to how you’re feeling about having sex with your boyfriend, so I would definitely go ahead and do that.’
