Kyle Sandilands’ very surprising take on Lidia Thorpe’s King Charles outburst

Kyle Sandilands shocked listeners on Thursday morning by revealing his very surprising take on senator Lidia Thorpe’s recent outburst at King Charles.

The radio king, 53, was discussing the incident in which the Indigenous activist screamed ‘f*** the colony’ and ‘you are not my king’ at Parliament House in Canberra on Monday.

The presenter, who has developed a reputation for his outspoken conservative views, revealed he actually supported Thorpe’s actions.

‘That senator Thorpe told the King off. What you have got to understand is, you may not agree with her carry-on with the Royals,’ Kyle began.

‘But she’s fighting for her people. At least we know there is s**t going on, you know what I mean?’

Meanwhile, co-host Jackie O Henderson, 49, was quick to agree with Kyle’s points.

Senator Thorpe’s outburst in Parliament on Monday were preceded by a bizarre altercation with the police hours earlier.

When a small group of protesters outside the Australian War Memorial were told to move on by police, Ms Thorpe was seen arguing with a police officer who held onto her shirt.

She then pulled her shirt off and stormed away from the officer.

‘Everything that we suffer in this country is because of that colonial invasion,’ she said after the tussle.

Ms Thorpe, who was elected as a Greens senator for Victoria before leaving that party and going independent, has often been vocal about her feelings towards the monarchy.

‘Give us what you stole from us! Our bones, our skulls, our people, you destroyed our land,’ Senator Thorpe shouted towards the Monarch this week.
