Emberg was born in Houston, Texas.
The leggy wonder modeled in high school after being ‘discovered’ by Alan Martin, a local photographer in Houston.
He introduced her to John Casablancas who relocated her to New York City to join his top modeling agency Elite Model Management.
Her career took off as she landed the cover of Vogue several times and Cosmopolitan as well as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Her campaigns were big too as she worked for Calvin Klein and Cover Girl.
After modeling she studied interior design.
