Newly-engaged Mikaela Testa admits her ‘worst fear’ came true during her partner Maxwell Krause’s proposal

Aussie influencer Mikaela Testa has revealed her ‘worst fear’ came true during her fiancé Maxwell Krause’s proposal in Japan.

The social media star, 25, confirmed the exciting news of her engagement to her boyfriend Maxwell in a sweet Instagram post on Thursday.

And the following day, Mikaela shared a TikTok video to reveal the one aspect of the romantic proposal that she was less than impressed about.

‘My biggest fear in the world happened tonight,’ she explained over a video showing the loved-up couple’s proposal moment.

‘My boyfriend asked me to be his wife tonight. Well, I didn’t have my nails done and well he begged me, because he made a reservation at the bar we met at in Japan.’

Despite her boyfriend’s efforts to abide to take her on a romantic night out at the very place they first met, she insisted that she would prefer to stay in the hotel.

‘I was lazy and said ”baby, let’s just order some room service. Let’s stay in the room, look at this beautiful view. Let’s watch it and stay in our pyjamas”,’ she said.

Even though Maxwell attempted a compromise and ordered in some ‘nice steaks’, Mikaela revealed her preferred proposal meal was ‘fries and fruit’.

She went on to admit that the thought of a public proposal filled her with anxiety as she gushed over her new fiancé.

‘But, I could not ask for a better outcome. I have so much anxiety, I am so happy it happened in private where I could feel comfortable and just live in the moment with this beautiful view in my favourite city in the world,’ she said.

Mikaela went on to admit that even though she didn’t have her nails done, bodybuilder Maxwell got her the perfect engagement ring.

‘He did so amazing on this ring,’ she said. ‘Princess cut, that is so me. Gold, that 100 per cent me, with diamonds around the band, I can’t believe this man is so perfect,’ she said.

‘We love each other so much. It just feels right. We just love each other so unconditionally, we never fight,’ she said.

‘I’m just the happiest woman alive right now.’

The influencer shared the happy news of their engagement to Instagram on Thursday.

In the announcement, the TikTok star showed an image of her hand with the diamond-encrusted engagement ring.

The lovebirds met online in 2022 and continued texting each other throughout 2023.

The couple finally met up in person in Japan in March for the OnlyFans model’s birthday.

The meeting coincided with her break-up with superstar Mexican-American boxer Ryan Garcia.
