The Hollywood actress took to Instagram on Monday to share a series of candid snaps of her acne struggles and told fans ‘I’m only a human,’ before explaining what caused her severe breakout.

‘I never thought I’d see the day I’d leave my beautiful country [bawling] my eyes out… when I was so excited to come home,’ she wrote.
‘Yea it sucks… for me, I don’t see how it’s bothering so many others? But I’m a human. it happens… One side of my face is clear and the other side is a mess.’
She continued: ‘Dermatologist says its from the bacteria from all the phone interviews I did for PP3 and a reaction to hotel pillow cases (which I already know)… This acne belongs to me, not them, and you are welcome to it.’

The makeup-free photos showed the Orange Is The New Black star wearing a black hoodie and sports cap and sporting a series of pimples on her right cheek.
It comes after Ruby sparked concern among fans last week, when she displayed a slimmer physique at both the ARIA Awards and the Pitch Perfect 3 premiere in Sydney.
Her weight has been a hot topic recently, with many fans taking to social media on Tuesday night to voice their concerns following her appearance at the ARIA Awards.

The Resident Evil actress recently lashed out at a recent report in NW magazine, which claimed her svelte frame has sparked concerns for her health.
Speaking to the publication, LA-based dietitian Lisa De Fazio said: ‘Her family and management team need to encourage her to gain some weight before it’s too late.’
Lisa also said she believes the actress only weighs 44kg, which would make her extremely underweight for a person of 5’7′ – with 61kg being the recommended weight for her height.

However, Ruby immediately hit back at the comments in a fiery Twitter rant, and scolded her for being so judgmental and ‘irresponsible’.
She said: ‘You are reckless and no Hollywood expert should behave the way you do.
‘Telling a magazine MY ‘manager, friends and family should get involved and help me before it’s too late’ and that my weight is ’44 kilos’ (I’d probably be in hospital if that were true) is so maddening and irresponsible.’
She ended the Tweet by warning Lisa not to comment on her weight again, writing: ‘I will absolutely knock you off your pedestal of self serving bulls****. I’d out train you, out box you and sleep better at night. Leave people alone.’
