Major US pop star shows off his ripped abs as he goes incognito on Sydney’s Bondi Beach

An American pop singer was spotted looking every bit the laid-back tourist as he enjoyed some downtime ahead of his highly anticipated solo debut.

Daniel Seavey, 25, who first made waves in the music scene as part of the boy band Why Don’t We, is currently in Australia as the support act for Dean Lewis on his national tour.

On Wednesday, the US star took to Instagram to share footage of him soaking up the Aussie sunshine at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach.

In the footage, Seavey showcases his lean and muscular physique, confidently going shirtless to reveal his toned abs and numerous tattoos.

With the sun shining down and a light breeze in the air, Daniel seemed right at home on the golden sands of Bondi.

The musician was captured mid-run along the beach, wearing just a pair of black board shorts that hang low on his hips, accentuating his athletic build.

A pair of black sunglasses shields his eyes from the Australian sun, and he clutches a water bottle and a light blue T-shirt in one hand.

Daniel’s trip to Australia marks a significant milestone in his career, following Why Don’t We’s announcement of a hiatus in 2022.

Since then, the former American Idol contestant has focused on building his solo career, pouring his heart into new music.

His recent single, The Older You Get, the lead track from his upcoming debut album, has been met with critical acclaim, proving that his solo journey is resonating with fans old and new.

Daniel will join Lewis on a seven-date tour across Australia, supporting Lewis’s forthcoming third studio album, The Epilogue.

The tour kicks off on Wednesday, October 30, at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle, and will see the duo perform in major cities across the country.

Lewis expressed his excitement in a statement, saying, ‘Reaching this level in my career is beyond anything I ever imagined. It’s been my dream all along to perform at venues like these.’

‘It’s hard to believe that I started out playing to 100 people in tiny venues, and now I’m headlining places like Rod Laver Arena, Wembley, Ziggo Dome, and the Royal Arena.

‘This truly feels like a dream come true. I can’t wait for my fans around the world to experience my biggest and best shows yet.’
