Luke Shaw has suffered a setback in his recovery from injury with the Manchester United left back still yet to feature for the club this season.
Shaw has not played for Man United since February after suffering from injury problems.
He had returned to make three appearances for England at the European Championships in Germany, but sustained a calf problem ahead of the Premier League season with Man United.
The left back was originally scheduled to return in September, before his comeback was pushed back until after the October international break.
In his final press conference as Man United manager, prior to his sacking on Monday, Erik ten Hag revealed Shaw had suffered a setback.

Erik ten Hag revealed Shaw was not progressing as planned in his final press conference
‘The process is not going as we expected, that’s the truth,’ Ten Hag said when previewing their Carabao Cup tie with Leicester.
‘The setback – if you want to call it like this – but we want to do it very careful because when he is now dropping again we have made the wrong process.
‘So we want to be very careful, we know his past.
‘We have to do this right because we want him to be available because he will have a big impact on our performances and also on our levels.
‘We can’t have it where he plays for some games then drops out again, we will do it very careful.’
Shaw’s absence has left Man United without a recognised left back so far this season, with Tyrell Malacia having been absent for 17 months due to knee problems.
Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui have been forced to deputise at left back in their absence.
Ruben Amorim would be faced with issues at left back should he become Man United boss
Man United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy will have to decide who features at left back on Wednesday in their Carabao Cup tie with Leicester at Old Trafford.
The match could be his only fixture in charge of the Red Devils.
Man United are in talks to appoint Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim as head coach, with the hope he could be in place to lead the team against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
