After pressing the lock button five times, the phone will give you the option to slide the Emergency SOS bar to the right and the phone will connect you with the Triple Zero emergency operator.
Even if the phone has no service, the phone will connect to whichever service provider is available in your area.
The feature also gives people the option to add emergency contacts, who would be automatically texted when the emergency call ended.
The iPhone would alert the contacts that you had called Triple Zero, and would send them your current location.
The iPhone would even send follow-up text messages to your contacts if your location changed.
Emergency contacts can be added in the Health app.
