Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum have been in touch with each other since they broke up earlier this week.
The couple had been together for three years and were engaged to be married.
There’s no ‘bad blood’ between the actors according to a source close to the couple.
‘There was no dramatic falling out between Channing and Zoë. They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways,’ the source told Page Six.
When it came down to it, the Blink Twice director, 35, and star, 44, ‘handled the breakup very maturely,’ but ‘they came to a mutual realization that they were better off friends than romantic partners.’

The couple met while filming Zoë’s directorial debut Blink Twice in 2021.
The source added that the Big Little Lies star has been star has ‘been in good spirits amidst the breakup, though pals say she’s has a lot on her mind.’
Channing and Zoë’s father Lenny Kravitz developed quite a bromance with his daughter’s boyfriend while the couple was dating.
The source said the two had grown ‘really close over the past few years.’
The Magic Mike star ‘felt a strong bond with Lenny. And the feeling was mutual,’ the source revealed.
But the Fly Away singer, 60, also has no bad blood with his daughter’s ex.
‘He understands that these things happen and just wants them to both be happy,’ the source said.
Zoë doesn’t have too much time to dwell on the end of her relationship as she is in the midst of filming Caught Stealing with Austin Butler in New York City.
The film is is about a burned-out, former professional baseball player who gets caught up in the criminal underworld New York City in the 1990s.

The former A-list couple’s last in-person sighting appears to have been on October 6, when they were seen on a date night at the play Picture Day at Coffey Street Studio in Brooklyn’s Red Hook neighborhood.
The two were there in support of her Blink Twice actor Levon Hawke, who was making his directorial debut with the show.
At the time, a source told People that the couple looked ‘cozy and cute together’ while hanging out with Levon and his sister, Stranger Things star Maya Hawke, before heading to a bar to party with the cast and crew.
‘Channing and Zoë held hands and looked very comfortable together and settled into their relationship,’ the source said. ‘They were affectionate but no overboard PDA or anything. They were so cool and chill. They were blown away by how intellectual the play was.’
