The ex-wife of rugby league player Sam Burgess turned up at the spring racing carnival event looking stunning in white.
‘Heading in to the most spectacular Birdcage marquee,’ she gloated on her Instagram Stories.
‘Up up up to level three.’
The Birdcage enclosure at Flemington racecourse is a place of unrivalled extravagance and hedonism, with big named sponsors sparing no expense, as their well-heeled guests lap up the life of luxury throughout the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Phoebe wore country-inspired frock with puffed sleeves, leg slit and a built in tie-up bow at the front.
Perched at bar overlooking the race track with one heeled foot peeping out from underneath her skirt, Phoebe wrote: ‘Picking winners, and a couple non-winners, from the top.’
The sheer white fabric had lacey detailing and a chic button up décolletage.

Other guests treated to the VIP experience on Saturday included Snezana Wood, Khan Hong, Tayla Broad, Tim Robards, and Rebecca Judd.
In the grand tradition of racing fashion, Phoebe went for statement headwear.
Her large, wide-brimmed white hat with a golden chain attached, matched the rest of the outfit, and she completed her look with white pumps.
After sharing the images of her ensemble to Instagram, Phoebe’s fans went wild in the comments.
‘You look gorgeous in that dress,’ wrote one follower, while another said, ‘You look gorgeous – hope you have a win.’
‘Stunning in white,’ said another, while one more told the influencer that she looked ‘sensational.’
It comes as Jana Hocking recently advised Phoebe to drop ex-husband Sam Burgess’ surname.
‘Let me put it bluntly: it’s time to give up the ghost of husbands past,’ Hocking wrote in her Daily Mail Australia Mail+ column.

‘Yes, I’m talking about your Instagram handle @mrsphoebeburgess,’ she added, before suggesting keeping the name makes Phoebe seem ‘a little hung up on the past when it’s clear your ex-husband has long since moved on.’
Sam Burgess recently married his new wife Lucy in a lavish Roman wedding.
Sam and his ex wife Phoebe married in 2015, separated in late 2018 and resumed their relationship in early 2019.
They split permanently on October 2 that year and later divorced – with Phoebe holding onto her husband’s name despite the acrimonious parting.
