Not everyone connected to the Washington Commanders won on Sunday.
The team continued their winning run in the NFL with a 27-22 victory over New York Giants on Sunday, taking their record for the season to 7-2 for the first time since 1996.
But for one fan who made the trip to see the team in action, it was a day to forget. Not that he’ll be able to anytime soon.
The Commanders fan has gone viral on social media for falling over several rows of seats just seconds after shouting at some Giants fans: ‘Shut your f***ing mouth’.
The fan seemed to be ok after his fall – not much more than his ego should be bruised in the morning – but it could easily have been worse.

The Washington supporter, who might have been drinking around the game, appeared to lose his balance as he turned back around from his outburst.
He toppled forward, rolled over several rows of seats – crashing into his fellow spectators along the way – before being stopped by the metal rail at the end of the tier.
He didn’t miss a beat – appearing to hold his hands up as if to suggest his trip was no big deal – before a security official walked over to check that he is ok.
The fan was wearing an Art Monk jersey – Monk is widely considered one of the best wide receivers ever in NFL history.
Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was in control throughout, finishing 15 of 22 for 209 yards. He iced the game with a 42-yard pass to Olamide Zaccheaus after New York got within five.
‘I’m just happy for the fan base,’ said Daniels, who added that his focus remains one game and one week at a time. ‘They can be so proud of the product we are putting out on the field.’
Next week, the Commanders host Pittsburgh Steelers.
