An Aussie woman stunned The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Thursday morning when she revealed the small-scale crime that lead to massive consequences.
The anonymous listener called into the radio show and admitted she landed herself in maximum security prison for four months for stealing Lego.
Recounting what co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson called the ‘saddest story’, the woman said she was ‘charged with armed with intent’ despite it being only petty theft.
‘I stole heaps of Lego and I actually went to jail for it… I actually went to maximum security jail,’ the caller said during the show’s Shoplifters Anonymous segment.
‘For [stealing] Lego?’ an astonished Kyle Sandilands responded.
‘Yeah, because when you undo Lego, you need a little device. I was charged with armed with intent. Which is the same as a gun, a knife, anything like that,’ she said.
Kyle, 53, asked: ‘Hang on, they charged you with armed with intent and you had a [redacted]? That’s not what the law is there for. That’s bulls**t.’
The woman continued: ‘Well, when I finally did see the judge, it was, you know, they wiped it away. But I had to go to jail for four months before that happened.’

‘While you were waiting for your trial?’ Kyle clarified.
‘Yeah. That’s correct. And I was stealing it because at the time I’d gone through a massive… I’d had my legs amputated and I was seeking connection,’ she added.
The woman went on to reveal she was selling the Lego on Facebook Market Place ‘very cheaply so that families would come and see me’.
