- Jake Paul and Mike Tyson went head to head at Wednesday’s press conference
- Tyson refused to get drawn into a war of words with his opponent
- The pair will settle their differences in the ring on Friday night in Texas
Young Jake Paul has been trying to get under old Mike Tyson’s skin since he contracted to pay him millions of dollars for them to fight each other here on Friday night.
He lost that one 48 hours before the event as they faced the world’s press together.
Iron Mike was virtually lock-jawed as Paul did all he could to sell the event at the AT&T Stadium, which is yet to sell out.
Tyson’s monosyllabic answers had the YouTuber burying his face in his hands. When he looked up he just exclaimed: ‘Boring.’
Then when the majority of the undercard fighters he is also paying polled heavily in favour of a Tyson victory he went round trying to force them into bigger bets against him than they could possibly afford.
He even looked jittery at the stare down, which Tyson terminated with an abrupt nod before walking smartly off stage, having told Paul simply: ‘I’m not going to lose’.
