Joe Rogan reveals the very surprising reaction to his Trump endorsement

Podcaster Joe Rogan has claimed many unexpected people from all walks of life have privately thanked him for endorsing Donald Trump for president.

Rogan handed down his endorsement just one day before the election, after sitting down with Elon Musk for a two-hour long interview and hosting the Republican candidate on his show.

‘He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way,’ the podcaster wrote of the Tesla CEO.

‘For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast’.

He has now said that ‘hippies, like artists, musicians and comedians’ have reached out to him in the aftermath, thanking him for speaking out.

‘A lot of what people say, they say it because they don’t want people to attack them,’ Rogan told civil rights attorney Josh Dubin on his The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Wednesday.

‘They say it because they think that if they say it, it will clear them, they’ll be OK.

‘If you say you support “x” – you might not even support “x” – but if you say you support “x,” you’re not going to get attacked and the right people will leave you alone or agree with you, and appreciate you or praise you.’

He then claimed that many creatives and people who were previously associated with liberal movements told him they were actually Trump supporters – without naming any names.

‘There’s a lot of that out there,’ Rogan said. ‘There’s a lot of people that don’t speak their mind. Do you know [how] many artists that have reached out to me that are like f***ing hippies, man, like artists, like musicians, comedians, that thanked me for endorsing Trump because thy can’t do it.

‘They said they want to, but they don’t want to be attacked. They can’t say it,’ Rogan claimed.

‘They think the country’s going in the wrong direction,’ he said, claiming they were also are opposed to ‘this control of social media by the government, which we would have had pretty much fully if it wasn’t for Elon buying Twitter.’

Rogan also argued that having the mass media dominated by one party is a ‘dangerous precedent to be set, whether it’s a right-wing government or a left-wing government.

‘And that’s what you see that’s happening in the UK where people are being imprisoned for tweets and Facebook posts. It’s f***ing crazy, mind-bending. The whole thing is nuts,’ he continued.

‘And it’s a dangerous path that we were on. We were on that path.

‘Trump has vowed to have free speech become a very important part of what he’s standing for, and that this censoring of information needs to stop, and that we need to stop all government influence in what people have to say.’

‘That shouldn’t be as revolutionary as it is,’ Dubin replied.

‘I know, it should be a core tenet,’ Rogan said. ‘It’s essentially the First Amendment.’

Many Hollywood A-listers had expressed their support for Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the presidential election – with Oprah and Beyonce even accompanying the vice president on stage at her campaign events.

It has since been alleged she paid extortionate seven-figure sums to the A-list backers, though Winfrey and others have denied the claims.

There is also no record on the FEC website that the Harris campaign paid celebrities like Megan Thee Stallion, nor Megan Pete, nor Megan Thee Stallion.
