- Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will fight in front of around 70,000 fans on Friday night
- A Supercomputer has predicted one fighter is the heavy favourite to claim win
A Supercomputer has predicted a shock finish to the showdown between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
Tyson, undisputed world heavyweight champion between 1987 and 1990, is due to make a long-awaited return to the professional boxing fray in his fight against the YouTuber-turned-boxer in Arlington, Texas, on Friday.
The bout was pushed back from its original date in July but a stomach ulcer flare-up while on a plane meant 58-year-old Tyson was advised to delay the contest.
Tyson’s health scare, paired with the 31-year age gap between the fighters, has been a cause for concern for boxing fans and experts alike.
The JeffBet SuperComputer has given Paul a 63.6 per cent chance of claiming victory while Tyson has a 34.8 per cent chance after simulating the contest 1,000 times
The Supercomputer has also predicted Paul’s victory is 40 per cent likely to come via KO or TKO in comparison to his opponent’s 26.7 per cent.

Tyson has not fought professionally since his loss to Kevin McBride back in 2005, with his last win coming two years prior.
Meanwhile, Paul only made his debut in 2020, the same year that Tyson fought Roy Jones Jnr in an exhibition match and 18 years after the legend’s last title fight.
Tensions between the pair flared during Thursday’s weigh-in when the former slapped the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Paul seemed relatively unfazed by the strike as Tyson was restrained and gave little comment before leaving the stage. That gave Paul an opportunity on the microphone to send his final message.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on stage, Paul said: ‘Mike Tyson, that was a cute slap buddy but tomorrow you’re getting knocked the f*** out.

‘I’m f***ing him up, I’m f***ing him up! He hits like a b***h. It’s personal now, it’s personal now!
In a chilling end, he uttered a three-word message of: ‘He must die!’
