England interim manager Lee Carsley has revealed he will speak with the incoming Thomas Tuchel after the match against the Republic of Ireland.
Tuchel’s tenure will get underway on January 1 after the FA appointed him as the permanent successor to Gareth Southgate.
Carsley’s final match in charge of the Three Lions will be the National League clash with Ireland at Wembley.
The 50-year-old says he hasn’t had a discussion with Tuchel since the win over Greece, but will speak with the German after Sunday’s match.
‘No (i haven’t spoken to him since greece), the plan is i’ll catch up with him after camp and talk through the players and my thoughts on the experience we’ve had
Meanwhile, England captain Harry Kane revealed he’s also yet to speak with Tuchel since last month’s announcement.

Tuchel has signed an 18-month contract with the FA and he will earn at least £7.5million during that period.
Furthermore, it is claimed that Tuchel will receive an extra bonus payment of £3m if England’s men end their trophy drought by winning the World Cup for the first time since 1966.
Tuchel’s reported salary of £5m per year is said to be twice as much as Southgate was on.
The former Chelsea boss’ first task will be to attempt to secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
It is understood that that he will not attend next month’s World Cup qualifying draw in Zurich as all parties stick steadfastly to his start date.
Tuchel had been linked with the managerial position at Manchester United but was eventually appointed by England.
