The dangerous weather eventually forced the plane to make an emergency landing.
The aircraft can be seen violently shaking from side to side as the concerned passenger films out of the window where a storm can be seen raging outside.
One woman can be seen rocking to the side due to the force of winds hitting the aircraft.
Meanwhile, small children can be heard crying out in distress as the harrowing video comes to an abrupt end.
The scary footage was taken on a Pegasus Airlines flight from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, located in Istanbul, on Sunday November 17.
Its intended destination was Mersin in southern Turkey however the plane as forced to make an emergency landing in Kayseri, central Turkey, due to the dangerous weather.
Despite the city only being a little under an hour and a half from Istanbul, the aircraft had no choice but to remain in the air for double the amount of time as the severity of the storm made landing impossible.

Upon landing after three hours in the air, Medical teams intervened to tend to the disturbed passengers at the airport in Kayseri.
Pegasus airlines released a statement on the flight on November 18.
They wrote: ‘Attention to our valued guests. On November 17, 2024, our Sabiha Gökçen-Çukurova flight, number PC2092, landed safely at Kayseri Erkilet Airport instead of the planned destination due to adverse weather conditions during the flight.
‘We always consider the safety of our guests and team as our top priority.
‘Apart from turbulence caused by weather conditions, no incidents were experienced and such weather events are managed with standard measures determined for flight safety and security.
‘The safety and comfort of our guests are always protected at the highest level.’
