Drake has confirmed he will be coming to Australia in 2025 for a tour which will run from February 9 through to March.
The US rapper, 38, sent fans wild when he announced the news during an Instagram live-stream with Canadian streamer XQC this week.
He said he was naming the tour the Anita Max Wynn Tour, which is the alter ego he introduced online last December, and so far had just three stops planned.
‘February 9th for anybody that’s watching from Australia, I’m coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years. Coming back to Australia on tour,’ he said.
‘Funny enough, it’s actually called the Anita Max Wynn Tour,’ Drake added, revealing that Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast were the only stops currently planned.
Anita Max Wynn is Drake’s cartoon character alter ego who styles himself in a pink and yellow outfit with a bob haircut and glasses.

He often uses the pseudonym and caricature as a gambling mascot, with Anita Max Wynn sounding like the popular gambling term ‘I need a max win’.
It comes after Drake sent his Australian fans wild earlier this month when he dropped a massive hint that he would be announcing a Down Under tour soon.
The Canadian rapper took to Instagram with a picture of himself posing in front of the Sydney Opera House when he last toured the country in 2017.
He captioned the image with, ‘It’s been like 7 years,’ alongside several eye emojis, teasing a potential upcoming music tour.
Live music website Whatslively—a platform known to accurately predict tour announcements—said it was positive Drake would announce a tour ‘imminently’.
‘We’re predicting these shows will take place early to mid 2025,’ the website stated.
Months earlier, 104.7 Triple M Breakfast Show Roo, Ditts & Loz predicted Drake may be arriving in Adelaide this month.
The Hotline Bling hitmaker was rumoured to be coming to SA around the same time as the Vailo Adelaide 500 supercar event, which takes place from 14 to 17 November

‘The hotel rooms are booked… he has more rooms than a normal artist,’ said Mark ‘Roo’ Ricciuto.
‘I don’t know if he is doing the Vailo but he is coming to Adelaide at the same time… it’s coinciding at the same time,’ he added.
‘There’s a lot of hotel rooms that have been booked so we’re pretty sure it’s happening,’ said Roo’s co-anchor, Chris ‘Ditts’ Dittmar.
While the radio stars didn’t dish on the numbers of Drake’s entourage, co-host Laura ‘Loz’ O’Callaghan teased that it was sizeable.
‘He’s got a lot of people coming. If those numbers are accurate, I’m very concerned,’ she said.
However, it seems those predictions may have been slightly off, as Drake is not currently in Australia yet.
