Danny Jones’s mother, Kathy, has arrived in Brisbane Airport to support him on in the I’m A Celebrity jungle and will greet him off the bridge when he leaves.
With backing from McFly’s die-hard fans, the frontman has been the favourite to win the show and Kathy gushed over her son’s successful jungle stint.
She told MailOnline: ‘Danny’s amazing, he’s doing amazing. I loved the snake down his trousers and it’s really unusual of him not to wash his pants for three days, he’s usually very hygienic.’
‘When he was crying in camp that got me a little bit. I was laughing when there was the snake down his trousers, wetting myself…
‘And then the after I was crying with him, I just wanted to hug him. I don’t like seeing him upset. You don’t like seeing your kids upset do you?
When asked if her son has what it takes to win, she said: ‘Of course, I think he could win. Tulisa and Danny are finalists.

The mother-of-two revealed that she hadn’t heard from his bandmates personally but she had seen their videos on social media and loved them.
Her arrival in Australia comes after Danny, 38, broke down in tears as he opened up about his life-long anxiety during Wednesday night’s episode.
The McFly star was overcome with emotion as he discussed his mental health with his campmates, admitting he has had therapy since he was 19-years-old.
Fans praised the star for being so honest and open about his mental health, after Strictly’s Oti Mabuse, 34, stressed the importance of men talking about their feelings.
During the very emotional chat, Oti was brought to tears as she revealed her half-brother Neo committed suicide and admitted he probably would still be alive if ‘he had spoken to someone about what he was feeling’.

‘I’ve been in therapy since I was 19 for anxiety.’

He said: I was freaking out and I couldn’t answer the question that got asked to me. [My] Heartrate goes crazy.’
As Jane asked whether he thought he had anxiety from a child or from being in a band, he said: ‘I think I escaped a lot.’
