A plane passenger has been slammed after invading the personal space of a fellow traveler by ‘shamelessly’ spreading his legs.

An unnamed woman, who was flying with United Airlines, took to Reddit to put the man on blast.

She shared an image of his legs touching hers in a thread titled Am I Overreacting.

The frequent flyer – who was sitting in the middle seat – unleased a furious rant about inconsiderate passengers on the discussion forum.

In the shocking image, her legs could be seen being squished by the man sitting to her left.

The post was titled: ‘Am I overreacting – airplane personal space offenders?’

She captioned the image: ‘I always sit next to people who shamelessly spread into my bubble.

‘He’s not tall with long legs and immediately claimed the arm rest elbowing my side. Seriously this happens 75 per cent of the time I’m in the middle seat.’

People on the web flooded the comments section and branded the man a ‘creep’ for being in her personal space.

One person wrote: ‘I’m 6ft3in with insanely long legs who flies economy.

‘I will 100 per cent need to gracelessly rejigger some stuff around, if you know what I mean, and adjust so my knees don’t jab in the seat but can entirely keep to my area.

‘That dude is 100 per cent a creep.’

Another user added: ‘Tell them to give you space.

‘If they don’t comply, ring for a flight attendant.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Nah that’s so weird, surely he knows he’s touching you and this isn’t right?

‘Men are wild with their leg spreading, I hate this for you!’

‘Yeah that’s too much,’ commented a fourth person.

The conversation surrounding airplane etiquette has reached fever pitch the last few weeks as passengers have previously revealed that ‘entitled’ fellow flyers once demanded they put away their technology.

One passenger most recently revealed that they were bullied for refusing to switch seats with a fellow flyer.

Pilots have even chimed into the conversation in recent weeks by sharing the true reason why airplane window frames are round.
