Billionaire tech boss Mike Cannon-Brookes ‘is dating a new mystery woman’ after split from his wife Annie

Mike Cannon-Brookes has reportedly started dating a new mystery woman after his split from his wife.

The Atlassian CEO, 45, and his wife Annie separated after 13 years of marriage in July last year.

The billionaire tech boss’ new love is a ‘civilian’ who he met in the NSW Southern Highlands community, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Mike owns several properties in the Southern Highlands area and purchased three neighbouring properties in Mittagong for $12.25million earlier this year.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Mike and Atlassian for comment.

Mike was last hit by romance rumours in August 2023, but he responded to the reports at the time by insisting he was ‘too busy’ for dating.

News of Mike’s split from his wife Annie was first revealed by the Australian Financial Review in July 2023.

‘They’re both focused on their children as their number one priority right now,’ a family representative said. ‘They ask that their privacy is respected.’

The couple – who had an estimated $19billion fortune and a $300million property empire –  tied the knot in January 2010 and share four children together.

The pair were involved in a terrifying car accident just months before their marriage split, with the billionaire hospitalised due to his injuries.

Both he and his wife made a full recovery and the car crash was not related to their separation.

Annie was working as a fashion designer when she first met Mike in the Qantas lounge at Sydney Airport while travelling home to Michigan more than a decade ago.

He wooed her by inviting her to an awards ceremony and they soon became a close part of one another’s lives.

Mike had gushed over his partner in countless loved-up tweets after he got down on one knee to propose in 2009.

Following their engagement, he tweeted: ‘GOT ENGAGED THIS WEEKEND! The gorgeous Miss Annie said yes!’

The couple tied the knot in 2010 and amassed a huge property portfolio worth almost $300million over the years as Mike climbed the Rich List ranks.

The couple’s 1.1-hectare Fairwater home in Point Piper, where the late Lady Mary Fairfax lived, was the most extravagant of their purchases.

They snapped it up in 2018 despite its intimidating $100million price tag, which made it the most expensive house in Australia at the time.

‘We love the idea of raising our four young children in this historic property, filling the house and gardens with love and laughter through the years,’ Mike told Domain at the time.

They also owned a $14.25million home in Newport, on Sydney’s northern beaches, neighbouring the $24.5million estate they purchased in 2020.

The couple also spent $2.55million on a fisherman’s cottage out at Great Mackerel Beach on the northern beaches, which is accessible only by boat.

Though it is not known how they divided their property empire after their split, Mike has snapped up an array of other lavish homes in recent months.

According to Domain, Mike bought three sprawling properties on the slopes of Mount Gibraltar at Mittagong for $12.25million.

He already owns the nearby Greyladyes Farm, which he snapped up for $13million, as well as a neighbouring $9.1million property.

Mike is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Australian software company Atlassian and has been involved with the Sun Cable Australia-Asia Power Link project since 2018.
