Fans notice odd detail in video of Roxy Jacenko’s son Hunter: ‘Watch out David Beckham’

Roxy Jacenko has put her son Hunter Curtis to work as an influencer.

The PR maven took to her social media last week with a paid partnership video post showing her 10-year-old spruiking a new deodorant for children and teens.

And while followers appeared impressed with the youngster’s skill in front of the camera, a number of users noticed that Hunter appeared to be speaking with an English accent.

‘He sounds like a Pom,’ someone commented on Roxy’s post.

Added another: ‘Love the accent Hunter, all grown up you spunk.’

The family have been based in Singapore since 2023.

Meanwhile, more than one of Roxy’s followers thought they spotted a resemblance in Hunter’s accent with a certain famed English sportsman.

‘He speaks like a young [David] Beckham,’ one user suggested, referring to the now retired footballer.

‘Bless him, watch out David Beckham,’ added another.

However, some of Roxy’s followers appeared to find Hunter’s accent odd.

‘Stay true to being Aussie!’ one follower advised.

In the video Hunter appears shirtless and is seen rolling the deodorant under his arms.

‘All you need to do is that and this, and you are gonna smell great for the whole day even if you’re sweating head to toe,’ he tells viewers as he demonstrates the product.

Describing the brand Neon Goat as ‘great,’ Hunter closed the promo video by telling followers that it has ‘a lemon, lime, and citrus smell.’

It comes after Roxy made it clear on Sunday she was not born for ‘housewifery’, and finds it much ‘easier’ to run six businesses.

The PR guru said she commends stay-at-home mothers ‘because I did it for six months and f**k me that would have to be the hardest job’.

Roxy said she found staying at home ‘f**king boring’, reported The Sunday Telegraph.

‘There’s f**king nothing to do here, nothing. Housewifery is not for me. Like, let’s be real. I have shopped to the point where I can’t shop anymore,’ she said.

‘Yes, Ministry of Talent [her talent agency business] ticks along and I work on that every day—but it’s not enough.

‘I’ve still got too much time in the day, and there’s only so many hours that Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prada are open.’

Roxy said it’s ‘easier for me to go to work and run six businesses than it is to look after two children’, adding she’d rather ‘run a country’ than help with homework.
