Inside Tom Brady’s Thanksgiving plans as NFL hero keeps busy while kids join pregnant ex-wife Gisele Bundchen

Tom Brady will be focusing on work this Thanksgiving, with his children spending the holidays with pregnant ex-wife Gisele Bundchen and her partner Joaquim Valente.

The 47-year-old Brady went viral over the weekend for his pretend shock reaction at having to work this Thanksgiving in his analyst role for Fox.

He is in the first year of a 10-year deal with Fox worth $375million and will be in Dallas to call the Cowboys game against New York Giants.

He has two children, son Benjamin and daughter Vivian, with his Brazilian supermodel ex-wife Bundchen and they will be with their mother in Costa Rica for the holidays, according to Page Six.

‘Gisele took the kids and headed to Costa Rica with Joaquim [Valente] to spend the holiday with each other,’ the publication quoted a source as saying.

‘Tom is supportive and that’s the arrangement he and Gisele have agreed upon. He’s going to be calling the game for Fox that day and will be tied up with work.

‘He will still have plenty of time to spend with his children during the holiday season.’

It emerged that Bundchen, 44, was expecting a baby with Valente, 37, in late October.

Brady was said to be stunned by the news and while he has not publicly commented on it, he posted a cryptic Instagram message around the time that the news came out.

‘Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?’ Brady wrote alongside a photo of the setting sun. The words are lyrics from the Fleetwood Mac song ‘Landslide’. The 1975 hit was later covered by The Chicks.

Brady added audio over the story, with users hearing: ‘Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?’

Professionally, Brady has not had the easiest time with Fox this season since making his hotly anticipated debit in the broadcast booth.

He was criticized by fans on Week One for his tone and style before then shockingly saying that Josh Allen had ‘played like a spaz’ in the early days of his career.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner also appeared to breach rules that exist solely for him to toe the line between his broadcasting responsibilities and his minority ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders.

When his Raiders stake was finally approved this year, Brady was told he cannot criticize refereeing decisions amid a flurry of other rules and stipulations.

But the next weekend, Brady said live on Fox that he disagreed with the decision to eject Brian Branch from the Nov. 3 game between Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

‘I don’t love that call at all,’ Brady said. ‘Obviously it’s a penalty but to me, that has to be serious intent in a game like this.

Ultimately, the NFL decided not to punish Brady for the comments.
