Brendan Fevola left shocked after finding out what his teen daughter got up to during Schoolies: ‘I don’t know what I’ve done wrong as a parent’

Brendan ‘Fev’ Fevola was left shocked by his 17-year-old daughter’s antics at Schoolies in Byron Bay.

The 43-year-old Carlton Football club legend, who currently co-hosts the Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick Show, admitted that after a FaceTime check in with daughter Leni on Wednesday, he was left feeling that he had ‘failed’ as her father.

After directing Leni to follow in his footsteps and do Schoolies properly by getting ‘hammed’ and ‘sending it’, the AFL star was disappointed to learn his teen daughter had celebrated with her friends in a relatively low-key fashion.

‘They’re at the movies, they’re watching Wicked! I am so disappointed,’ the radio host exclaimed.

‘I sat there, drank ten beers, and went, “I don’t know what I’ve done wrong as a parent, I’ve failed.”‘

‘I did my schoolies while I was playing footy, and it didn’t end well,’ Fevola added.

The former AFL star and radio host has four daughters with his wife Alex: Mia, 24, Leni, 17, Lulu, 14, and six-year-old Tobi.

Leni, who is already following in her parents’ and older sister Mia’s footsteps, boasts an impressive 20,000 strong following on Instagram and recently finished Year 12.

She frequently shares candid snippets of her friends and fun-focused life on social media, including her recent Muck Up day and how she marked ‘Exam week’ by going out to a bar accompanied by her glamorous mother and older sister.

Leni plans to attend Swinburne University of Technology in 2025 and was even hired by the university to promote the Melbourne campus on social media.

In a carousel of photos shared to the teenager’s Instagram account last week, Leni declared ‘Pjs are the most important thing on the packing list,’ for schoolies.

She shared a photo of the exterior of the sprawling Airbnb where she and her friends are staying for their week-long school leaving celebration in the Aussie tradition.

The modern mansion features a large outdoor swimming pool and beach location, perfect for wild parties.

But the second-eldest Fevola daughter shared that she’d instead spent her week enjoying quality downtime with her friends, driving, reading books with cups of tea, and unwinding at the cinema with Ariana Grande’s blockbuster film.
