T-Pain lived up to his reputation as a performer extraordinaire during his gig in Thursday’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The songwriter, who earlier this year removed his name from some country music songs he’d written citing racism as the reason, made a big impression on fans as parade watchers sang along with him.
T-Pain performed a medley of his biggest hits: Good Life, Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’), Low and All I Do Is Win.
After seeing the 40-year-old wow the crowd and the millions of others watching at home, some fans took to social media with a proposal for another big show.
‘Can we start a petition for T Pain to do the Super Bowl halftime show?’ asked a poster who goes by Cornelia Street News Swiftie.
Others on X, formerly Twitter, agreed, each making their own plea.

‘Can we get a T-Pain Super Bowl halftime show?’ asked WACH Sports Director Matt Dowell.
The Grammy winner rocked the New York City borough Manhattan wearing a green coat over an orange sweater and brown pants as he traveled on the Jennie-O float.
He placed a matching green fedora with red trim on his head.
He was joined by a dozen or dancers wearing coordinated tan and green suits.
Many fans were blown away by the energy of the early morning performance.
‘T-Pain just won the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This medley performance got the party going early this morning,’ one wrote.
Another joked, ‘T-Pain is short for Thanksgiving Pain. A lot of people don’t know that.’

The multi-talented artist is seeking to change things up. He put out an open call for artists on social media writing, ‘I’m forming a new band and I want you in it!’ on Instagram November 19. Submissions are due by December 3
Fans with musical talent may be able to join T-Pain on stage as well in the future.
‘I’m forming a new band and I want you in it!’ he wrote on social media on November 19.
‘No matter what instrument you play, we could have a slot for you. Show me what you got cause this next era of our music is gonna be electric⚡️’
According to the post, submissions will be accepted through December 3, so hopefuls still have time to apply for a spot.
