NFL fans worried after spotting disturbing detail about Cris Collinsworth’s hands on Sunday Night Football broadcast

NFL fans tuning into Sunday Night Football offered up concerns after catching a glimpse of the hands of NBC color commentator Cris Collinsworth.

While calling a game from a cold and snowy Orchard Park, New York between the San Francisco 49ers and the host Buffalo Bills, cameras occasionally flipped to the booth and showed Collinsworth alongside play-by-play man Mike Tirico.

A few shots showed that the tops of Collinsworth’s hands appeared to be darker than his fingers or the rest of his hand.

It’s unclear what may be the cause of the discoloration – or if there’s a serious concern that people should be worried about.

Multiple fans posted to social media offering concern for the longtime commentator – advising someone at NBC to fetch him something to keep him warm.

Sports content creator Brianna Pirre tweeted, ‘can we get cris collinsworth some gloves or something the man’s hands are blue???’

SNY sportscaster Chris Williamson said, ‘I hope Cris Collinsworth is okay.’

Another user posted, ‘Why does Cris Collinsworth’s hand look like Dumbledore’s cursed hand in Half-Blood Prince?’

‘get cris collinsworth some gloves… his hands dead!,’ a different user added.

A different user, mocking Collinsworth’s commentary style, posted, ‘Here’s a guy who’s hand might be dead.’

This is not the first time this season that the NBC broadcasting veteran’s hands drew concern from fans.

Back in early October, in a Sunday Night Football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys, Collinsworth’s hands appeared to be a similar color.

Collinsworth, the former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, has been in the broadcast booth for NBC’s Sunday Night Football for sixteen seasons.
